Qiangmuxi Hydropower Station in the Middle East is located on the Zuohere River in the southwest, about 25 kilometers south of the town of Gachisa, Behbehan City, Kojiluyebo-Yale Ahmadi Province. This hydropower station is the second hydropower project constructed by Gezhouba Group in Iran. It is a conventional hydropower station with bank-side ground powerhouse behind the dam. The project consists of main structures such as the dam (spillway, diversion bottom hole, discharge bottom hole, intake), diversion system and ground powerhouse. The dam is a Concrete Double-Curved Arch Bridge with a total storage capacity of 1.650 billion cubic meters and an average annual total energy of 33974 million kilowatt-hours.
